What the Fungus Urban Mushroom Farm

"Pleurotus ostreatus", this edible type of mushrooms also known as oyster mushroom have caught my attention  right after I’ve seen some pictures of it on my dear cousin Faith Facebook account.

Faith and her partner Brian have been growing some shiitake, blue oyster, tree oyster, and elm oyster for a while now at their place in Penticton, British Columbia which they called “What the Fungus Urban Mushroom Farm”.

The couple has been selling quality mushrooms to top restaurants in the south Okanagan.  In fact, there are two top restaurants in their place that wants to feature their mushrooms and wants them to be their supplier.   Aside from selling mushrooms, they also sell mushroom kits for people who want to grow mushrooms in their own kitchen.
